We had another fun weekend!! We headed to the cities to stay with our friends Tony and Angela and meet their new little boy, Owen. I did his newborn pictures and we also went to the Children's Museum in St. Paul, the aquarium at the Mall of America, and of course we can't go to the cities without going to Ikea, my favorite store! I also met up with a friend from college Jess, and got to see her boys, which I realized I hadn't even met her youngest one, which means it has been WAY too long! So all in all it was a GREAT weekend and it was so fun to see friends and hold baby Owen. It really hit home that I am going to have another lil one soon and just made me more anxious to meet our lil guy!
This is at the Children's Museum, which Caden loved and Kyle and I had a good time to. I highly recomend this place and will definitely go back!
Our lil turtle!
I think this was his favorite part, playing in the water. He had so much fun putting the ball behind the gate, opening it and letting it roll down the ramp into the water. I think he could have stayed there all day.
This was another favorite. Going shopping, putting it on the check out and then actually getting to check out the food. He had a great time doing this.
My friend Jess and her boys David and Henry. Those lil guys had so much fun playing together and I hope the next time we see them isn't so far between. Usually it takes Caden awhile to warm up, but not with these guys, they started playing immediately and he didn't want to leave. Thanks for the visit Jess and Dave, you guys have a beautiful home and adorable kids. Hope to see you soon!
Aquarium at the Mall of America
Loved seeing the turtles and sharks. We let him pick out a stuffed animal turtle and shark and he now carts around his turtle with his sheep and blanket.
Tony, Angela and baby Owen.
On the way there, Caden kept saying he wanted to go on a trip to see baby Owen. He did ok with me holding him until the last day when he was tired and crabby and I wasn't able to hold him as the jelousy set in. But it was so fun to see them (as it always is!). Thanks again for everything Tony and Ang! Miss you guys!
